David Parrish delivered a leadership workshop for creative entrepreneurs as part of the ART Venture programme in August 2015.
ART Venture is a unique, year-long acceleration programme for entrepreneurial people working in the creative sector in Auckland, New Zealand.
The ART Venture programme brings together the arts, business, education and investment communities to back creative entrepreneurs and producers working in the Auckland region who are keen to contribute to Auckland’s cultural and economic development. The programme provides a flexible customised action-learning environment that, through peer-to-peer support, specialist coaching, a seed fund pitching process and an innovative curriculum, accelerates each participant’s creative enterprise.
The ART Venture programme has been developed by Arts Regional Trust in Auckland, in association with The Big Idea New Zealand.
David’s expertise in leadership is derived from his own experience of leading businesses through periods of growth and change.
He helps business owners and senior executives to become effective leaders through his workshops, consultancy projects, coaching and mentoring, and his presentations and speeches.
David has also designed and delivered change management programmes for a number of businesses, organisations and corporations internationally.
His own international business experience, academic learning and projects with clients combine to make David an expert in change management, leadership and cultural change within businesses and organisations.
Through training workshops, in-house bespoke programmes, consultancy projects, corporate training events, and keynote speeches, David helps businesses to lead change processes effectively.

His background is in setting up, leading and managing businesses in the creative industries and he has used his own experience, professional qualifications and international connections to help creative and digital businesses to become even more successful.
