David gave a presentation about his international work supporting business growth and exports to the Enterprise Estonia Creative Industries team. He spoke at Enterprise Estonia headquarters in Tallinn and staff in Enterprise Estonia’s Tartu office also took part in the meeting using teleconferencing facilities.
He was invited to share his experience and expertise in designing and delivering business advice and support for creative and digital businesses in the UK and world-wide. He gave examples of his business advice services, creative business training workshops and publications.
David gave examples of some of his most successful projects including the Liverpool Creative Growth Initiative and the Merseyside Business Support Programme.
The Enterprise Estonia Creative Industries team supports business growth and exports through a range of initiatives across all business sectors. The creative industries has been identified as a sector with growth and export potential. David was invited to share his expertise about how best to support this sector, to help the Enterprise Estonia Creative Industries team achieve even greater impact and results.
David also presented the Enterprise Estonia Creative Industries team leader with copies of his two books: ‘T-Shirts and Suits: A Guide to the Business of Creativity’ and ‘Chase One Rabbit: Strategic Marketing for Business Success. 63 Tips, Techniques and Tales for Creative Entrepreneurs’.
He also shared some of his free online resources with the Enterprise Estonia Creative Industries team, for distribution to the creative industries business sector in Estonia. These include a free eBook version of ‘T-Shirts and Suits’, a Creative, Cultural and Digital Industries Guide and an article ‘Create Your Own Business Formula’.
Whilst working in Estonia, as well as advising the Enterprise Estonia Creative Industries department, David also had meetings with the Ministry of Culture, Loov Eesti (Creative Estonia), Creativity Lab, Incubator Tallinn, and the Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School at Tallinn University.
