David gave a Creative Economy presentation at an event in Muscat, Oman, based on his international experience of the creative industries.
His presentation “The Digital and Creative Economy” was made online to an audience of Oman Government officials, employees and others.
David spoke about the opportunities for governments to use the creative economy in the context of the digital economy to increase access to government information. He also included the importance of taking into account the changing needs and expectations of citizens. This is part of his approach to strategic marketing, which can be applied not only to businesses in the creative industries but also to government agencies and non-profit organisations.
